Service Description

Whether you've never stepped on a paddle board or you're looking to improve your confidence in a kayak, this beginner-friendly course is designed to help you get comfortable, safe, and efficient on the water. During this hands-on outdoor class, you'll learn: Basic kayak and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) techniques Proper paddle strokes and boat control Launching and landing safely Water safety and situational awareness Life jacket and gear basics How to handle wind, boat traffic, and changing conditions Tips for fishing from kayaks and paddle craft Common beginner mistakes and how to avoid them Our goal is simple: help you feel comfortable and confident so you can enjoy Texas lakes, rivers, and waterways safely. This course is perfect for: First-time paddlers New kayak owners New SUP owners Families and outdoor enthusiasts Anyone wanting to build confidence before exploring on their own Course Length: Approximately 1–2 Hours Come spend a morning on the water, learn new skills, and gain the confidence to start your next adventure. Age Requirement: All Comedy Food Tours and Tuesday Supper Club events are strictly 21+. Cancellations & Weather: Tours operate rain or shine. No refunds will be issued. Rescheduling may be offered at the sole discretion of Austin Trophy Adventures. Food & Beverage: Food, beverage, ticket, and venue inclusions vary by tour package. Tuesday Supper Club includes select food and non-alcoholic beverages as described in the booking listing. Other Comedy Food Tours may require guests to purchase certain food, beverages, or venue admissions separately. Please review your specific tour description for details. Substitutions: Restaurant partners, menu items, venues, show schedules, performers, and other tour elements may change without notice due to availability, closures, scheduling conflicts, weather, or other circumstances. Comparable substitutions may be provided when necessary. Safety & Conduct: Guests must follow all guide instructions, venue rules, and applicable laws. Responsible alcohol consumption is required. Austin Trophy Adventures reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant without refund for intoxication, disruptive behavior, harassment, illegal activity, or conduct that negatively impacts the experience of other guests. Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions: Please notify us at least 48 hours prior to your tour of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special accommodations. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination. Liability Waiver: Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. A signed liability waiver may be required prior to participation. Photography & Media: By participating, you grant Austin Trophy Adventures permission to use photos or videos taken during the experience for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes unless you notify us otherwise in writing before the event. Right to Refuse Service: Austin Trophy Adventures reserves the right to deny participation or remove any guest for safety concerns, policy violations, inappropriate conduct, or failure to follow guide instructions.
